Microscopic Features

Spores broadly ellipsoidal, warty, cyanophilous (8-12) x (6.5-8) µm2. Basidia 4 spored, sinuous. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae 4 to 6 µm wide, clamped. Leptocystidia tubular, tapered, with a blunt tip, smooth.

Notes

This species can be differentiated from H. punctulatum by larger spores.
